As promised in our blog last week, please find below a table showing the Cyrillic Alphabet together with a pronounciation guide. It is really useful to know the Cyrillic Alphabet when visiting Russia.You will be surprised how many words you will recognise.

RUSSIAN ALPHABET

The first obstacle when learning Russian is that Russians use the Cyrillic alphabet. Therefore next week we will be listing an introduction into the Cyrillic alphabet so that you can familiarise yourself with the letters and their pronunciation. This will be followed each week by some useful Russian phrases that will make it easier for you to get around St Petersburg and Moscow
